Dear Wilson Parents and Families,

I wanted to reach out and let you all know how excited I am to join the Wilson Elementary Stinger Bee Family for the 2021-2022 school year.

I look forward to partnering up with you to provide the students a rigorous and engaging school experience. I have been with Seminole County Public Schools for over 22 years now and I feel very lucky to start a new chapter at Wilson.

My journey began as a Teacher at Geneva Elementary School, then a Resource Interventionist at Winter Springs Elementary School, and then transitioned to the Administrative world and served as Assistant Principal at both Jackson Heights Middle School and Sanford Middle School. I then spent 6 years serving as Principal at Geneva Elementary and then the last 2 years as Principal at Eastbrook Elementary. In each of these experiences, I tried very hard to foster relationships with the staff, students, and families and provide a solid instructional experience for kids.

I will do my best to follow in the footsteps of Mr. Gard-Harrold, who is a good friend and an amazing Principal. I know that he has made so many contributions to Wilson’s success and that he will be missed. Together we will focus on achieving One Year’s Growth in One Year’s Time for all of our Wilson Elementary students.

We will emphasize how important it is to work as a team to support each other and provide positive learning opportunities for everyone. We will always put our students first and remain a strong and caring community. My door will always be open and I hope to meet you all in the upcoming year.

Please remain safe and I wish you well in to the summer.
